The TEA Partiers protested their own taxes. Now Lefties are protesting over someone else’s: Nationwide marches set to protest Trump tax returns.

Yeah, I’m not surprised at yesterday’s Tax Day protests by Progressives just like we, as TEA Partiers, did on April 15ths. However, here’s a YUGE difference between us and them. As a TEA Partier, we rallied because of what was being done to US. Today, it is all about Progressives wanting to do something to someone else. Translation: “leave us along” vs “we want to punish someone”. And that person, if you were to listen to the pre-rally rhetoric, it was all about Donald Trump’s tax returns – they just won’t let go. To quote Hillary: “what difference does it make?” Hey, given his wealth, the P&L he released should say a lot.
Given that Prez candidates have only been releasing them for about 40 years, what did the Progressives do before that? Given that Progressives have already economically targeted Trump’s (and his daughter, Ivanka) businesses, WHY would he want to give them even more information that would be available from such a return?
Then in watching Meet the Press today, Heather McGhee (President of Demos Action, a far, far Soros-funded Leftist PAC) let the cat out of the bag. TEA Partiers wanted less taxes…
It was fantastic! I got to speak right after Senator Wyden at the one here in DC yesterday. Actually, my expectations were very low. There have always been these little sort of earnest tax day, you know, kind of rallies by Progressives saying “we need more revenue!“.
As always, Progressives show their hypocrisy – if they REALLY thought that Government needs more money, they can always whip out their check book or credit card and make a VOLUNTARY contribution above and beyond their actual tax due amount. Heck, they could voluntarily decide to NOT take any legal deductions that they are entitled to take so as to boost “revenue” – wouldn’t that fit their philosophy?
No, it wouldn’t.
You see, NOTHING can be voluntary with these folks – with their Collectivist mentality, their aim is to punish EVERYONE and use the force of Government to make everyone equally miserable.
