Voter Fraud – I keep hearing from Liberals that it doesn’t exist (until they do it)

Ayup: Liberals are always talking about no voter fraud at the ballot box.  Problem is, is often happens much further upstream (remember ACORN getting busted on this ALL over the country?) (reformatted, emphasis mine):

OHIO: Liberal activist jailed after voter fraud guilty plea

A paid liberal activist from the battleground state of Ohio was sentenced to six months in jail after she pleaded guilty to 14 counts of voter fraud on Monday. Rebecca A. Hammonds was originally charged with 35 counts of “falsely registering people to vote and forging signatures on voter registration forms,” and admitted to 14 counts, Salem News reports. Hammonds was a paid canvasser for the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, a group pushing people to register to vote in Columbiana County.

“It was fraud. It was dozens of forms where people that were deceased or just forged flat out. They signed their name and it wasn’t even the voter, the wrong date of birth, wrong streets,” said Columbiana County Elections Director Adam Booth in mid-2016 when Hammonds originally plead not guilty, according to WFMJ. Booth said Hammonds was caught because his office “take the precautions and double check to make sure that all the information matches up, from their first name, middle name, last name, to all the identifiers.

NH ought to be taking a lesson – instead the NH AG’s office has boxes of stuff like this just sitting around because of “manpower” restraints (that is, unless Joe Foster just happened to have taken the out when he cleaned out his office – heh!)

At her sentencing, Brian Deckert, an associate assistant attorney general, said Hammonds was being paid at an hourly rate, and not per signature. He said it was not “a situation where she had a quota system … I think it just may have come down to human laziness.”

Laziness?  ‘Fraid not – laziness would be doing NOTHING, not falsification.  ACORN, Ohio Organizing Collaborative – no difference.  This was done on and for an ideological bias and advantage.  After all, how many conservative groups have even been accused of such activities as falsification of voter documents?

“I just can’t overlook this. You attempted to violate the integrity of our election process in the county,” Judge C. Ashley Pike said at Hammonds’ sentencing. “You made a mockery of our system … If 180 days (in the county jail) doesn’t teach you a lesson, nothing will.” Hammonds faced one year in prison for each count.

And this is the problem with our Judicial system – 180 days vs 14 years?  That 180 days is barely a slap on the wrist for “You attempted to violate the integrity of our election process…You made a mockery of our system“.  Big words, IMPORTANT words – very little punishment.
