The British Art Of Understatement:
‘Knife Wielding Asian’ Goes On Rampage

Having seen the horrific images, and then hearing and reading the carefully crafted words in the news reports, we are struck, once again, by the folly of leaving citizens subjects defenseless on the streets of their own country.

Consider what it has come to in the land of the Magna Carta and the original parliamentary Bill of Rights, both of which influenced our own constitution. Not only are nearly all citizens forbidden from possessing guns of any kind, anywhere, but any knife over 3″ could land you in jail (basically anything bigger than a small pocket-knife). Of course when knives are banned, only crazy terrorists are flashing big knives!

Imagine what a small percentage of armed citizens could have done here – perhaps stopping the terrorist before his mini-SUV had mown down so many victims, and certainly taking him out before he could get to Parliament and stab an unarmed police officer. (The WSJ reports that less than 10% of British police are armed.)

In the aftermath of the event, armed police and soldiers spread out across London to reassure the public and keep citizens safe (because they could not protect themselves). Sad.

This is also a testament to the folly of having non-integrated, unassimilated, members of a foreign culture mingling with normal, law-abiding, western citizens. It also has continued to illustrate that religion and culture DO matter: When Indians and Pakistanis first immigrated to the UK, over 60 years ago, you really couldn’t tell the difference – minor variations in coloring and accent, but all of them got into business, medicine, engineering, etc., and integrated into society. 50 years on, the best way to describe 2nd and 3rd generation Pakistanis is dis-integrated, while the Indians are almost more British than the British! Read stories of muslim dominated cities in England (rape gangs and more), and understand why a critical mass of un-assimilated immigrants, of ANY background, should not be allowed to happen here. (Mark Steyn reports that 2nd and 3rd generation Muslims in The Netherlands and France are also dis-integrated and radicalized)

Finally, as you may know, the Brits refer everything beyond the middle-east as “Asia”, and distinguish between them by calling what we know as Asia, “East Asia” or “The Far East”. They also call anybody east of the Mediterranean who is not Semitic “Asian”. These terms, and Political Correctness, explain why the British Press refer to a “knife-wielding Asian” when what they really mean is (excuse my ‘french’):
“Bats#!t crazy, Allahu Akbar chanting, machete slashing, brown-skinned Muslim terrorist!” (Amazing economy of words, don’t you think? And the public knows exactly how to read between the lines.)

We subsequently learned that the perpetrator was a British born man named Khalid Masood, which plays right into the theme of second and third generation Pakistanis being less integrated into western society. That, coupled with the rapid increase in mosques, shows that Indians (both Hindus ad Sikhs) are integrated immigrants, while Pakistanis are invaders. (I’m sure not all are radical, but any nationality which acts more like a giant sleeper cell, rather than becoming western citizens, should be looked at very critically before admission.)
