Ain’t That Tweet – Trump vs. Creepstate

It appears Donald trump wants in on the latest media narrative, the one with no evidence, the one the media has been pumping for all its worth about Russians stealing the election from Hillary. And all he had to do was toss a couple words into a tweet. Timing is everything in comedy and politics.

I have yet to see any evidence of Hillary having her presidency stolen by the Russian government other than WikiLeaks releasing private emails from the cabal of leftists that surround her like bot flies.

This new move by President Trump is going to take the Russian election hacking story to new levels and maybe, just maybe, we will get a glimpse at some real evidence – from both sides. Obama has said he had no part in it. Why does that sound so familiar? I know Obama had journalists and foreign leaders put under surveillance. Would it be a stretch to think he might have some reason to let underlings do his dirty work for him – as in use the IRS against conservative groups?

Already there are comparisons to Watergate. I heard this on several talk shows. The story goes like this: If Obama used the Justice Department or any other means of listening in or acquiring transcripts of conversations of candidate Donald Trump it would be the biggest scandal since Watergate.

That is not true in the least bit. The Democrat Party chose for its nominee for President in 2016 a woman who stole 900 FBI files for political use. That was a story as big as Watergate but it was essentially ignored by the media and no charges were brought against her.

Looking back at Hillary Clinton’s denials of having anything to do with stolen FBI files, the denials chipped away until the truth came out. She had an underling, a former campaign worker, steal them for her after giving this totally unqualified bar bouncer clearance to access restricted government documents. Remember Craig Livingstone? How about Sandy Burger for that matter?

Hillary denied having a secret email server as well, but a former campaign worker given access to government information put one in her house. Remember Brian Pagliano?

Barack Obama may not have had Trump Tower phones or email put under surveillance personally. But as this latest scandal moves along the bowels of the 24/7 news cycle look for some former trusted campaign worker embedded in the alphabet soup department to pop up with some classified information he should not have had.  Then this story will disappear like Russian hookers peeing on a hotel bed.
