Yesterday, New York gun control organization Everytown for Gun Safety, another failed organization run by billionaire gun control addict Michael Bloomberg, ran a full page ad in the Union Leader. The deception in the ad is par for the course for this organization but what’s even more disturbing is that they’ve actually hired 11 lobbyists in the state of New Hampshire to fight against grassroots organizations and the citizens of the state.
Moms Demand and Everytown used to pretend they were “grassroots” but they never were able to actually get grassroots support. Amy Bradley, who was one of the “faux” grassroots Moms Demanders, is now listed as a paid lobbyist out of Everytown’s New York City office. Interesting this is the same woman who lies that she is for human rights. Apparently money from a man to take away women’s rights is more important than actually fighting for those rights.
Everytown is also paying the lobbyist firm of Demers and Blaisdell in New Hampshire (Jim Demers was a huge Obama supporter who also backed Hillary Clinton). Demers not only supported Obama policies but he sits on a board of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation which seems to help U.S. companies create jobs in other countries. Either that or it’s a slick money laundering scheme for millionaires and billionaires. It’s not clear if Demers, a gun control supporter, is still sitting on that same board under the Trump Administration.
Previously, Political Buzz exposed another lobbyist firm that Everytown hired when they announced their plans for New York-style gun control in New Hampshire. They had hired a Republican-owned lobbying firm to push gun control in New Hampshire. Apparently that didn’t work out.
New lobbyist firm Demers and Blaisdell believes Republican New Hampshire Legislators are dumb enough to believe Everytown lobbyist Tom Prasol simply because he’s a Republican. Prasol is the lobbyist for Demers and Blaisdell that was seen hanging out with Moms Demand and Everytown lobbyist Amy Bradley during the recent Senate Bill 12 hearing. He did not testify but it’s unclear what shenanigans and lies he’ll be pulling and telling to Republicans behind closed doors this week.
Moms Demand and Everytown could never gain any grassroots support in the state. It’s telling that 2nd Amendment organizations have far more grassroots members and supporters. Rather than realize they stand no chance (after they’ve tried for two years), they choose to spend out-of-state money from a New York City gun control billionaire in the state to continue to abuse New Hampshire citizens and to push draconian gun control laws that do nothing but enable criminals. Political Buzz discovered Everytown’s end game during an interview with state representative Skip Berrien – registration, confiscation and more gun free zones. This represents the exact opposite of what a majority of New Hampshire citizens want in the “Live Free or Die” state.
