It’s the “Moms Demand Action Reality Distortion Field”

holstered-gun1A bubble that is BEGGING for a pin (any pin, any size, from anywhere, to pop these windbag harpies).

SHOT (heh!):

“When somebody says a (good) guy with a gun can stop a (bad) guy with a gun, we remind them that’s there’s absolutely no evidence that supports that theory and that all of the evidence is actually contrary to that.” – Moms Demand Action Florida director Michelle Gajda, in Group fights gun proposals with two opposing sides in documentary [via wtsp.com]

CHASER: Really?

I know that I, as well as other Groksters have posts speaking exactly to that lie.  However, to be fair, here’s what I picked up in a just a few minutes elsewhere:

Defensive Gun Use of the Day: Chicago CCW Holder Stops Robbery With His Equalizer

Three armed robbers (above) stormed into a store in the 7400 block of North Western Street in Chicago Sunday. One employee, with a valid Illinois concealed carry license, drew his equalizer and dispensed some ballistic deterrence toward the offending trio. Two of the three bad guys sprung leaks. All of the offenders made a hasty retreat, leaving a trail of blood that came in handy for police to follow.

Ashley Mundy is Every Gun Hater’s Nightmare

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)— Ashley Mundy says the night of Oct. 08, 2015 started out like any other night. She says she fell asleep in her bed with her then four-year-old son Braedyn, but later, woke up to the sound of glass breaking. Mundy says she got up, grabbed her 9 millimeter handgun and found her neighbor, Bruce Jolly, disarming her security system. That’s when she decided to shoot.
“I was there alone with my child; My dad encouraged me to get a conceal and carry, and I just felt that was the thing to do at that moment,” said Mundy.

Party Store Clerk Ends Attempted Robbery With A Bang

The incident took place about 9 p.m. at the Little Brown Jug Party Store on Gratiot Avenue, south of Interstate 696 when the two men, with their faces covered and wearing gloves and hooded jackets, walked into the store and approached the cash register.

”The suspect in the light hoodie jumped up and stood on the counter and pointed a revolver at one of the employees,” Roseville Deputy Chief Donald Glandon said in the release.

“Another employee discharged 1-2 rounds from his handgun,” Glandon said, adding one of the robbers may have been struck by the gunfire.

The robbers ran out of the store, but on their way out, the attacker wearing a light-colored hoodie dropped his weapon, Glandon said. It is not known if the second robber, who was in a dark-colored hoody, had a firearm. Witnesses told police the two ran through the parking lot and headed in the direction of Wildwood, west of Gratiot. A K9 was called in to help search the area, but was unable to pick up a track.

Hero Concealed Carrier Who Shot Attempted Cop Killer Cleared

Ashad Russell came to the assistance of Deputy First Class Dean Bardes after Strother twice tried to kill the law enforcement officer. Strother first tried to kill the deputy  by trying to run him down as Bardes tried to work the scene of a minor accident, and then after a chase that exceeds speeds of 100+ miles-per-hour, Strother attacked Bardes and tried to take his gun.

Russell stopped and warned Strother to stop his attack, and when the attempted cop-killer did not, he moved to an angle that got Deputy Bardes out of the direct line of fire and shot Strother off the officer, firing three shots and making three hits without putting anyone else in danger.

Concealed Carrier Stops Stabbing At Topeka Walmart

Topeka Police responded to reports of a stabbing at the Walmart on SE California in Topeka just after 4 p.m. Saturday. TPD says two men were involved in an altercation, when a third party conceal carry holder intervened and stopped the assault.

“He intervened, drew his firearm, and held the people to the ground basically at gun-point,” said Topeka police Sergeant Joshua Klamm.

One of the men involved in the altercation was stabbed and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the two men knew each other. The suspect and the witness were taken to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning. The suspect and the victim were both taken into custody for aggravated battery. The conceal and carry holder was released after questioning.

But then again, Moms Demand Action aren’t looking for reality, are they?
