Mexican officials clamoring for illegal aliens to Cloward-Piven our immigration system

illegal alien signFor all the talk about defunding Sanctuary cities (and soon, States), methinks Trump ought to cast a hairy eyeball at Mexico (emphasis mine, reformatted):

According to The Wall Street Journal, a group called Monarca — named after the Monarch butterflies that migrate across North America — is pushing several measures that aim to help Mexican migrants living in the U.S., one of which involves an ad campaign urging those targeted for deportation to take their cases to court.

“The backlog in the immigration system is tremendous,” former Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda, a member of the group, told The Journal. He wants to double or triple that backlog, “until [U.S. President Donald] Trump desists in this stupid idea.”

In a separate, and more concerning strategy meant to fight Trump’s deportation order, the WSJ reports that influential Mexicans are pushing “an aggressive and perhaps risky strategy to fight a likely increase in deportations of their undocumented compatriots in the U.S.: jam U.S. immigration courts in hopes of causing the already overburdened system to break down.”

I’ve written a lot over the years about Cloward and Piven – two NYU professors and outspoken Socialists that wanted to bring down our Republic.  Their idea was to get those that are “entitled” to get all of the entitlements they are supposed to get.  The kicker was to have outsiders also come in and “flood” the system.  The desired end was overwhelmed the system to the point where it would break and THEN they’d be able to replace our native American system with Socialism.  They damned near did it in New York City to the point of bankruptcy.

And now former and present Mexican officials wish to interfere with OUR policies? But Progressives, all absorbed with Russia’s “interference” are silent about this?

Castenada is just one member of Monarca with ties to the Mexican government. The group claims Mexican officials, legislators, senators, governors and other public figures, although it has not been officially endorsed by the Mexican government or Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto.

The group is planning a meeting with migrant groups in Phoenix on Saturday to discuss the marketing push and other plans — including making the U.S. provide proof that illegals are Mexican before that country accepts deportees; introducing legislation to prohibit the Mexican government from allocating funds to build a border wall; and possible retaliatory measures if the U.S. should institute a border tax on Mexican exports.

Right.  So these folks want to Alinsky the US, their biggest trade partner:

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)

They certainly have 25 Billion reasons why they want to do this – that, in dollars, is the amount of remittances that are sent back to Mexico by these illegal aliens – rivaling (if not exceeding) its major export item – oil. Their economy would be wrecked if those were to be eliminated or lessened.

But think about it – this is basically a threat of Lawfare by a neighboring country.  Sure, the Progressives are all about election interference by Russia, but this is allowable simply because they want Open Borders – they WANT a foreign Power dictating what our immigration policy should be by waging war in our Courts??

“We want to be friends, but in the face of continued hostility we don’t have to keep a friendly attitude forever,” Arturo Zamora, a senator with Peña Nieto’s ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party, told the Journal.

Sorry, but that doesn’t wash. Since when can our Federal Government enforcing our immigration laws against those that are illegal be construed as “hostility”?  If anything, that hostility should be thrown the other way – why are you PROMOTING your citizens to NOT live in their own country:

Overnight this sudden start in deportation activity prompted the Mexican government to urge its citizens living in the US to “keep in touch with its nearest consulate” and to make emergency contingency plans the day after at least one mother was deported, following President Donald Trump’s executive order. In a statement released Friday, the Mexican Foreign Ministry said that the country’s consulates in the US have “intensified their work” to protect fellow nationals, and are anticipating “more severe immigration measures to be implemented by the authorities of this country, and possible violations to constitutional precepts during such operations and problems with due process,” according to a CNN translation.

Monarca’s Castaneda says Mexico would ultimately like keep illegal Mexican migrants in the U.S. rather than resettling them in Mexico, where many would lack jobs.

What a country that tells its citizens – DON’T COME HOME.  The message is, truly:

We want your money but not you.

Frankly, Trump ought not just stop saying that the Mexicans will pay for the wall, he ought to start dropping hints that if Mexico is going to do this as an official policy (even if not stated as such), our foreign aid to them will dry up.  And then drop a 40% tax on the remittances going to Mexico.  If they wish to have a war, let us have a war.  They’ve been doing this for a long time and now they are scared that we now have a President that is putting America First and not an Open Borders one.
