Obama: always ready to lay blame for his inadequacies – elsewhere

Er, not so much.
Er, not so much.

From Breitbart, we see that one thing has not changed during President Whiny Pants’s term in office – he’s never to blame (emphasis  mine):

On Friday’s broadcast of “Dateline NBC,” outgoing President Barack Obama reflected on his past eight years and why he was unable to accomplish as much as he had set out to accomplish after being sworn in as president in 2009.

As he has had in the past, Obama put some of the blame on conservative talker Rush Limbaugh and some host at the Fox News Channel, which he said made it difficult for Republicans to go along with some of his policy proposals.

“Well what is true is the ability of Republican leaders to rile up their base, helped along by folks like Rush Limbaugh, some commentators on Fox News I think created an environment in which Republican voters would punish Republicans for cooperating with me — that hothouse of back-and-forth argument and really sharp partisanship I think has been harmful to the country.”

In other words, our “I have a pen and a phone” President, who famously said that he was better at the jobs of everyone that worked for him, can’t admit that he LOST in the Arena of Ideas.  So put it another way – Rush and perhaps four other people at Fox blocked him and his policies?  Really, the most powerful man in the free world was stymied by people who just TALK for a living?  What does that say about Obama’s:

  • ideas on governance (e.g., more Statism and consolidation of Power to DC?
  • his total inability to advance or defend them – reducing him to that Pen?

Er, not much. Not much at all.  And it seems that his “Pen” may have been just a simple school pencil as that pencil’s eraser is about to go into overdrive leaving……only scrub marks for a legacy.  Live by the graphite, die by the rubber.

He just couldn’t, can’t, or will ever understand that his ideas and governing style were totally rejected by the American people at large (in the 50 States’ races for President rejecting Hillary (Obama’s third term)) or at the States’ levels (re: Democrats reduced to being a small bicoastal rump party these last 8 years). Best thing that ever happened to the GOP – and I bet that President “I’m the reason for America doing so well” (cough, cough) Obama will NEVER take plaudits for that factum.

In the end and from a legacy standpoint, this self-styled Emperor will be seen for having little outerware (or underware?) to show for eight years.
