NH State Senate Passes Constitutional Carry

Concealed carry holsterUnion Leader

The state Senate, as expected, voted along party lines, 13-10 on Thursday, to approve a bill that would make it easier to legally carry a concealed weapon in New Hampshire.

“Easier” means, anyone who can legally carry a firearm may do so concealed without additional permission.

Democrat State Sen. Bette “My Husband Elliot steals campaign signs and gets away with it” Lasky does a good deal of whining in this piece, as does Lou ‘Aces’ D’Allesandro. I’ll synopsize it – and it’s one of the few times you will ever hear a Progressive say this. “What we’ve always done is working, why change it?”

Why? How about “because you object?”

If Democrats want something, the safest bet is to want the opposite. In this case, a lot safer.

That is not the best possible reason to do it, by the way, but it is a close second; if you don’t know what the first reason is then you are probably a Democrat.

The Bill goes to the New Hampshire House where it should pass, then to Republican Gov. Sununu who has said he supports the change.
