Maggie Hassan’s Gun Control $$: A Photo is Worth a Thousand Words

Maggie Hassan was paid back to the tune of millions by gun control organizations during the senate election as long as she voted AGAINST the wishes of Granite Staters while she was governor. Clearly, getting money far the senate race was for more important to Hassan than ending decades of abuse of her own constituents.

Hassan was never a supporter of the 2nd Amendment or the New Hampshire Constitution nor will she be one now.

Money and lobbyists are obviously more important to Mags than the ‘little people’ she’s supposed to actually represent.

From NH Political Buzz:

Many people wondered why Hassan continued to allow the abuse of Granite Staters by state employees with her vetoes against House Bill 582 and Senate Bill 116 – both bills would have ended discrimination, racism and abuse at the hands of state employees. Now there’s no longer a need to wonder. It’s become quite clear why Hassan stood with out-of-state gun control groups against the best interest of her own constituents – money.

Of course, Hassan and every single gun control lobbyist is lying when they talk about “common-sense” gun safety. They care nothing about safety and everything about control, not of criminals mind you but of law-abiding citizens.

If you are one of those people who didn’t think Hassan would be anything but a puppet for the Democrat Party, here’s your sign.

The late Thomas Szasz said on a different issue:

The FDA calls certain substances “controlled.” But there are no “controlled substances,” there are only controlled citizens.

So too, as Kimberly points out, with “gun control”.

Very interesting sight to see. When I wrote Governor Hassan imploring her to sign the Constitutional Carry bills (each time they got to her desk) she informed me that NH laws were”sufficient” and “common sense” and “balanced” and even Republican Governor Thompson said all was well and no change was required.

Now juxtapose that statement with the photo-op with Gabby Giffords and “Spaceman” Kelly who are adamantly anti-gun rights!

she’s a one-termer (once we fix the election system) and heavily outnumbered by republicans.

she may as well not show up. it’s not like she will be able to do anything…
