Fake News Has To Be Addressed

Trump at CIA
It takes a bit of news watching from reliable sources and some media that inadvertently let slip a few facts but I am quite enthused about President Trump’s appearance at CIA HQ yesterday.

Apparently, President Trump had pre-scheduled that event in anticipation of introducing Congressman Mike Pompeo, who would have been confirmed as the CIA Director by the Senate Confirmation Committee by then. Predictably, Democrats dragged out the process to make sure confirmation would be after the event, so President Trump went alone.

Big mistake Sen. Head Clown Schumer! President Trump got a chance to meet the individuals who attended the packed, by lottery for limited seats, first meeting of President Trump and the agents who do the work at the CIA. Since the Obama appointed CIA Director left last week, President Trump received a more than warm welcome, as in standing ovations, from CIA employees. Who would have guessed that a President Donald Trump event would run out of room – just like his presidential primary rallies?

President Trump took up some of the extra time Sen. Head Clown Schumer offered him to talk about the news media. He described the American news media as some of the most dishonest human beings in the world. That description was met with laughs and a round of applause from CIA agents.

News media and President Trump critics took aim at President Trump for mentioning, for the umpteenth time, how dishonest they are. But did he have a choice?

MLK Bust in Trump Oval Office
MLK Bust…still in the Oval Office.

One recent piece of dishonest fake news about President Trump involved the MLK bust in the White House being removed. It wasn’t. But the bust of Sir Winston Churchill, removed by Obama, was restored to a prominent position in the Oval Office.

Some Washington trollporter from Time magazine tweeted out to his collective audience that since he did not see the MLK bust, it could not possibly be there. It is more like this fake news generator, Zeke Miller (Yale grad. Now it makes sense.), wanted to story that he could use to make President trump look like a racist.

Make no mistake. If President Trump does not address as many fake news stories created to make him look like a racist, xenophobe, hater, and so on, it will become truth to the viewers who salivate for such fake tidbits of fake news. All the better to put on a sign or placard during a march.

Letting any seemingly small example of targeted fake news become a legend, like “binders full of women, or the 47%” gives the media an upper hand in their goal of destroying President Trump.

I suggest he keep up the pace with the worst human beings in the world. His staff will have to make the media pay for each example of fake news, every time they catch them. Then use that golden opportunity to explain what is really going on and what the facts are. Call it political Judo.

Talk to Americans, not DC insiders, critics, fake news creators, or any of the experts on politics from the past.
