While we were peacefully enjoying our Frosted Flakes every morning, thinking America and Tony the Tiger were both just G-r-r-reat!, a liberal revolution was seeping into the very fabric of our country (thanks, Obama!), and apparently oozing its way onto our breakfast tables (thanks, Kellogg’s!).
The first sign of trouble came early in Obama’s reign, when Kellogg’s decided that Tony needed a makeover to get with the times, and he suddenly sported a new look and a BLUE NOSE – did you even notice?
But things went downhill quickly from there, with Kellogg’s regard for their core customers unravelling almost as quickly as the Obamacare exchanges – In 2014, Kellogg’s and the iconic Tony went all-in for the Atlanta Gay PRIDE parade, with this advertisement!
This year, not to be outdone by Hillary and her distaste for “Deplorables”, Kellogg’s decided that they’d diss the entire readership of Breitbart News (because hate speech, don’tya know?) by pulling their advertisements from that site, sparking widespread outrage and calls for boycotts of Kellogg’s products from many quarters (People’s Cube graphic).
There are rumors that Tony Tiger was none too happy with his new mission, and came close to dismissal for expressing a different opinion
