Townhall.com is reporting that former Texas State Senator Wendy ‘Abortion Barbie‘ Davis just insulted half the nation.

“Let’s face it, Republicans were rewarded by an undereducated electorate,” Davis told the Texas Standard, a public radio program, on Thursday. “And I don’t think it’s too cynical to say that the true right-wing conspiracy in this country is the undereducation of the populace. It has benefited them and it is not an accidental outcome.”

Matt Vespa produces compelling evidence that Wendy–who was going after Republicans–just insulted millions of Obama voters, but he never broaches what to me seems a more damning indictment.

If we have an undereducated populace, then the blame falls, not on some post-election-loss conspiracy fantasy concocted in the narrative echo-chamber of some Democrat’s empty head, but upon the centuries-old progressive education industrial complex.

Democrats (with few exceptions) own the educational system in America from pre-K all the way to what’s left of the University system. They aggressively defend this turf. Make parents, educators, school boards, and local budgets pay a high price. You don’t even have to wander off the reservation. Their wrath finds those who merely peek across the perimeter fence to wonder if what lay outside it might be better for the children.

As a result of this union-weaponized monopoly, generations of voters have received what government-first cultists like Davis define as some of the best education other people’s money can buy. Beneficiaries of the lefts ‘it takes a village – (run by big government bureaucrats)’ mentality.

If the populace is uneducated, even just undereducated, Democrats own that. Wendy Davis owns it.

So, don’t be shy. Who stands with Wendy on our failed government-run education system?
