The long, slow, underreported decimation of the Democrat party continued in November 2016. Republicans now have trifectas (governors office, majority house, and state senate) in 31 sovereign states. Three remain split. The Democrats control thirteen.
No. It’s not a rejection of Democrat policies and priorities. OK, it is. A huge one. How huge? Remember the Colorado model? The left’s plan to take over states? What happened to that?
Obama and the Democrats wounded it, perhaps mortally. It started when progressives had complete control of Congress and shoved ObamaCare down America’s throats. You can plot the change from there. The Tea Party started it. The “Deplorables” have added to it. The media continues to try and hide it, but Republicans have been devastating Democrat power in the sovereign states for six years running. Almost without even having to try. Why do you think the left is so desperate to find a way to curtail or deny that sovereignty at the federal level.
It’s a plan that may have to wait a few more years.
Trump won’t come close to Reagan and he ain’t no conservative. He’s a deal maker who recognized that a majority of American’s have an issue with keeping borders open and forcing hordes of refugees down our throats when 94 million of us have stopped looking for work altogether. That letting men use the ladies room is not a priority the federal government should be investing time and energy. That affordable energy is what we need, and we happen to have a lot of it; that it can help us find work for the millions who stopped looking and make working and running a business more affordable by making it cheaper.
Trump isn’t my Republican Jesus, and he shouldn’t be yours. He’s a moderate with an appreciation for free markets and the burden that bureaucracies create for job creation and growth. I won’t be the least bit disappointed if the Donald drops a lot of balls, in fact, I expect it. If he does me right on energy, with the Courts, stops destabilizing foreign governments for the Muslim Brotherhoods, and does a bit of house cleaning in the Executive Branch, I’d call it a win.
If he can address the rampant vote fraud problem that would be nice as well.
Ending the immoral, unethical mandatory unionization of state and federal public employees would be nice too. And a few trillion other points, sure. But let’s be realistic. The fringe party still owns the media, Hollywood, the Music Industry, Internet moguls, and the Unions. They control information and are prone to violence.
Lucky for us 2017 has a majority of Republican governors and legislatures.
So, rioters, snowflakes, and whiners feel free to continue your “protests,” but take note. There are only a handful of places where that behavior will be tolerated. If your tantrums escalate to the point of property damage or threats of harm to others, you will be ‘managed’ in a manner suited to your behavior in at least 62% of the nation.
If you’d like to ‘crap’ in your own backyard, feel free. Punishing people at the expense of others is what progressivism is all about. Some of your neighbors may not have realized this. Your violent little pit parties could open their eyes.
And the media can’t hide you from yourselves so if all you are doing is eating your own, Bon Appetite.
