Data Point – if the Electoral College didn’t exist…

The Progressive / Democrat whiney losers are blaming everything, except for their actual ideology, for their complete annihilation on the national stage (as well as most of the States).  Chief among their faux outrage is that part of the Constitution that rides herd on making sure that small States are treated as well as big ones – the Electoral College.  They hate the idea – mostly on the grounds that it keeps Power from them.  They simply believe that because they “own” several large States like California, New York, and Illinois, AND that Hillary is winning the popular vote (more on that later), they should now own the Presidency.

Other than the fact that we should NOT allow them to defenestrate yet another check and balance that the Founders set up, this map from RedState shows the absolute insanity of letting them do so:

And well put:

The popular vote is vastly unfair to those in rural areas and smaller states. Our Founders contemplated and understood the inherent misrepresentation issue of a pure popular vote. In today’s America, four states would matter in a popular vote, and the rest of the country would be S.O.L.

Hot Air has the map of the US House districts after this past election, it is clear America is highly divided:

Sure, this shows geographical area vs population division, it is rather stark isn’t it?
