Political signs as proxy?

Ten-to-GOP-MidnightTo be sure, I stay home a lot – it’s easy when you work via the Internet during the day and don’t get out much at night lately.  Today, though, I had to run errands myself this morning.  For whatever reason, I actually took note of the political signs that I saw – and those that I didn’t see wandering around the Lakes Region.  Lots and LOTS of street side ads for Democrats – in my hamlet, Laconia, all around town.  A couple of singlets but mostly a bunch of candidates in “packs” of signs – 4 to 5 of them if there’s a one of them.

Have the Republicans given up?  Sure, full size ad in the Laconia Citizen today but that’s about all I’ve seen.  Sure,  some strings of Pretty Kelly’s signs, an occasional Sununu one (even saw a couple of Guinta ones), but very, very few in comparison.  Same thing in the Letter to the Editor section – “out written” by multiples.

Or have I come full circle – lambasting them for feeling entitled that they should hold onto their majorities?
