No, I did Not Watch the Debate

gravity-falls

I don’t watch Debates. Boring. Pointless. Rigged, more or less. Little more than a platform from which to launch narratives against candidates who are not progressive enough.

I’m #NeverHillary so why should I waste quality time on blowhards (and the candidates they are tweaking) fishing for tomorrow’s headlines, and (this time around) October’s anti-Trump narratives? A few minutes online and anything new presents itself.

Instead, I (re) watched something much more compelling. Part I of Gravity Falls Weirdmageddon. The first in a three-episode finale to the series. If you like cartoons, especially well-written and clever ones, Gravity Falls is worth binge-watching. The series runs through all its planned story arcs in just two seasons and forty episodes, and it’s damn funny, in my opinion.

prince-of-thornsI spent the rest of the time reading Liar’s Key by Mark Lawrence.

If you like the genre (Fantasy/fiction) introduce yourself to The Broken Empire series with the novels Prince of Thorns, King of Thorns, and Emperor of Thorns – all much better than a debate, or politics in general for that matter.
