First Do No Harm – An Open Letter to a Pro-Abortion Doctor

An open letter to Dr. Oglesby Young, OB-GYN, 189 North Main Street, Concord, NH and the NH Democratic Party.

Dear Dr. Young,

I have verified by a call to your office that you, Dr. Oglesby Young OB-GYN, are a real doctor who practices out of Concord NH. Your receptionist confirmed to me that you wrote this letter which was sent to some voters in NH. I am not sure how we were chosen, but I was one of the recipients.

I was shocked and appalled to learn that a practicing Concord OB-GYN, had professed his disfavor of a pro-life candidate for US Senate by way of this mailing that was apparently paid for by the NH Democratic Party.

I do not know you Dr. Young, but I have to wonder how a person who works in your field could be so misinformed on health services in NH?

First of all, you say you are offended by Ayotte’s position on LIFE, but did it ever occur to you that some of us are offended by the fact that in your profession you were sworn to PROTECT LIFE, (“first do no harm”) let alone advocate for the spending of other peoples’ money to destroy it?

As for the careful advice you say you give to your patients, an abortion is not ‘health care’. It is murder, which is never good advice.

Secondly, as most know, Planned Parenthood’s main objective is abortion, which in MOST CASES, is NOT “health care” but a barbaric form of birth control, and a conscious choice. (Three-time candidate for President and OB-GYN Dr. Ron Paul tended to the pregnancies of 4,000 women and said NOT ONE of them had any issues that would have indicated the need for an abortion.)

Further, these Planned Parenthood facilities are NOT even licensed health care facilities!

Finally, you cite the concern that women “not of privilege” have no access to preventative health care such as mammograms. Are you that ill-informed that you do not know that Planned Parenthood does NOT perform mammograms? Supposedly, the “Affordable Care Act” aka Obamacare was put in place to provide the poor with “affordable” health insurance that would cover these types of preventative services.

Let’s face it, your letter was not about health care options or prescription medications but about abortions, which were recently proven to be something Planned Parenthood does for profit by the selling of baby parts, including organs from live births.

As for what you have moved me to do, I can only say that before I got your letter, I too, was opposed to Ayotte’s re-election. The truth is, Senator Ayotte has voted with DEMOCRATS 66% of the time, including enabling and rubber-stamping of this administration’s power grabs and property rights violations at the local level.

But now that I have seen your letter, I may have to consider voting for her after all, as this particularly important issue has redeemed her.
