“You Didn’t Built That” Revisited

you-didnt-build-thatI would like to re-visit the Obama, “You didn’t build that,” slap at business people the progressive tax and spenders are so fond of repeating. They seem to feel that because roads are built with tax dollars they have the right to extort more from business than what they paid when it was time to build and maintain the roads in the first place. In their elitist minds, all roads lead to a successful person’s wallet – forever.

So let’s step back and take a look at this “We built that for you and now we want our share,” mantra progressives with Harvard degrees think is a winner.

America has a $20 trillion national debt. I didn’t spend that.

Our public schools, especially in community organized urban areas like Chicago, are a disgrace. I didn’t do that.

Our troops are scattered all over the Globe in wars we do not intend to win. I didn’t send them.

The US Supreme Court makes unconstitutional decisions/laws. I didn’t appoint them.

Many businesses and farms are regulated to the point of collapse and some, like the coal industry, are targeted for elimination. I didn’t do that.

A particular Democrat candidate for President in 2008 did not mention (during the campaign) his main goal was single payer, government run health care, and take-over of student loans. I didn’t vote for that.

Obama just paid ransom to a country that will use that money to build a nuclear weapon so they can intimidate the rest of the world. I certainly didn’t do that.

Obama had shovel ready jobs and billions of dollars to rebuild America’s infrastructure. I have yet to see that.
