UN and NASA Predict Long Term Drought in American Midwest: It Rains Instead

Upper Midwest Precipitation drought indexIn 1988 both NASA and the United Nations were certain that ‘ruinous drought in the American Midwest’ was “the first scientifically documented change brought about by the Greenhouse Effect.” This scientifically documented effect would cause the interior of the American content to be drier. From wheatlands to grasslands with the corn-belt becoming semi-arid.

The next decade was one of the wettest of the century.

So, just like snowfall, increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide may result in less or more rainfall in the midwest, or anywhere else, anytime, ever. All the more reason to give the governments of the world trillions more dollars and an exponential increase in regulatory power to go with it.
