As regular readers may have noticed, my rate of posting has plummeted over the last month or so and when I have been able to, the post is rather short or just pointing out what someone else has said. Perhaps there will come a time to explain but given what happened this morning in Orlando, I thought I’d share this quick thought / email I wrote in our Grokster email group on the Islamic Terrorism that a known wolf (FBI tracked) carried out:
Subject: Mystery shooter in Orlando has suicide vest, belongs to which religion?
I have been painting upstairs [grandson’s nursery] so I have been listening to the [Sunday] talking head shows and they’ve all mentioned it. Meet The Press, however, almost went wall to wall with it. You have no idea, with that coven of corrupt Collectivists on their panel, how many times I had to restrain myself from throwing the paint buckets at the TV.
The worst part was when they all, even the so called RINOs (e.g., I don’t think they even rise to the low bar of being RINOs) were all talking about “we haven’t had the conversation about guns” since 9/11.
What planet are these people from – that “conversation” has
been incessant, especially the last 8 years (re: gun sales are talking loudly, eh?). The “conversation” ends, so it seems, when all of us who possess “military weapons” (as Tom “I’ve had guns since I was young” Brokaw and PMSNBC’s Joy Reid were saying) turn them in.
Note to journalists: when you finally show us that you even know what you are talking about, THEN we’ll have that conversation.
Here’s my Opening Statement: The reason why we have violence that expresses itself using firearms is two-fold:
- Islamic radicals that want to kill us whether we have guns or not – Jihad is all about Islam, whose definition is SUBMISSION to their politico-religious worldview
- The deterioration of society’s morals and family values here in America where life means little anymore – thanks to Progressives undermining them for decades. Congratulations, you are now reaping what you have sown – the removal of almost all internal self-governance.
Remember, a gun in inanimate – it does NOTHING without a human at the trigger. And then that person doesn’t care?
The problem with the latter is that they take no blame on themselves – they just continue to blame law abiding citizens and do nothing about the inner city thugs (re: CHicago) and drug crews that cause most of the shootings that aren’t suicides.

It seems that most of the media is also all about “gun control” and not that this was Islamic Jihad (like the San Bernadino shooters, this Omer Marteen pledged fealty to ISIS via 911 calls (and ISIS had said it was going to attack Florida three days ago)- how much more information do you need about this guy that beat his (now ex-) wife for seemingly no reason at all. The FBI knew about him and could do nothing.

Remember, ISIS are the kind of folks that have no problem in throwing gays off of roof tops, hanging them, and other ways of torturing and killing them. ISIS is the problem, Islamic Jihad is the curse – and I just wish Progressives would stop blaming something that just sits there until it is picked up by the wrong people.
Oh and for all you anti-gunners out there that don’t want to “waste a crisis” and start screaming for more gun control, this murderer had already pass more stringent “background” checks (passed the NICS to purchase a gun, passed the Florida conceal carry check, and passed the security guard check). So arguing that we don’t check enough is rather silly in this case.
