HUDSON – Veteran, Entrepreneur, small businessman, and three-term State Representative Jim Lawrence today announces his plans to file his campaign for Congress in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.

Lawrence stated: “The federal government is too big, too bureaucratic, and too inefficient. Our government intrudes too much into our daily lives. We need a Congressman who will cut waste, rein in the federal bureaucracy, and return power to the people of New Hampshire. I built my successful business streamlining federal government programs, rooting out inefficiencies and waste, and saving taxpayer dollars. I will do the same in Washington.”

Lawrence is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and built a business over 15 years as a contractor working to streamline projects for the Department of Defense. Lawrence continued: “Government overspending and waste robs the taxpayers of their hard-earned money. It drains needed job-creating capital from the small businesses that drive our economy. It fails to deliver on services that we were promised and deserve. We see it in a bloated healthcare bureaucracy, the deadly failures at the VA, and around kitchen tables as New Hampshire families are forced to do more with less. Congresswoman Kuster has failed the people of New Hampshire, she has grown more and more beholden to her party bosses and the special interests in Washington. She has not led. I will.”

Michael Biundo, a longtime New Hampshire consultant and partner at RightVoter will serve as his General Consultant (www.RightVoter.com).

Mike stated: “Jim Lawrence will run a professional campaign, building a district-wide grassroots organization to take his message directly to voters in the media, online, at town hall meetings, and in door-to-door conversations. He will paint a clear contrast with Annie Kuster: She supports higher taxes and larger, more intrusive government. He will vote to cut taxes, reduce the size and reach of government, and return power to New Hampshire families.”
