The Lady Macbeth of Littlerock

Hillary the Lady Macbeth of LittlerockHillary is awful. She always has been. Absent a loveless political marriage to a charismatic cad she’d be nothing more than one of many shrill militant-feminazi foot-soldiers screeching from the darkness.

Her stint as First Lady was nothing but scandal and failure. Her tenure as a Senator was jejune, rising to the pedestrian at best. As Secretary of State, history will maul her as the little engine that could not, complete with scandals, security failures, and as overseer of one of the greatest diplomatic backslides in modern American history–even though that was mostly Barack Obama’s doing.

And no one can count her accomplishments because she has none.

But baggage? She’s got baggage but the Democrat party wants what it wants. A woman Wes Pruden has labeled the Lady Macbeth of Littlerock.

But if nearly everyone, but definitely not including the objects of lusts and affections not so sublime, was willing to cut Bubba a little slack for his fabrications and fornications, there’s no such slack cut for the lady of the house. For one thing, Bubba’s peccadillos are entertaining, in a sad and sinful way. Hillary’s greed and the pursuit of mammon entertains no one. She has been with Bubba for a long time and none of his roguish charm rubbed off on her. She reminds every man of his first wife and every woman of the dullest man whose path she ever crossed. People, one pollster recently concluded, “just don’t like Hillary, and there’s nothing she can do about it.” Her only hope is to remind everyone of what they don’t like about the Donald.

Hillary’s negatives now pile up beneath her. Her email scandal just won’t go away, no matter how hard she tries to make it irrelevant. Bernie Sanders can rue the day he stood up to say how tired he was of “Hillary’s damn emails.” He seems to understand now, in a distracted way, that if he had put aside gallantry (as gallantry is measured in cold New England precincts) and made her careless and irresponsible dismissal of the requirement to guard the nation’s security secrets, he and not the Lady McBeth (sic) of Little Rock, would now be the presumptive Democratic nominee. (Read the whole thing.)

Out damn scandals…

Hillary is not alone in this. Her defenders, many of them candidates for office themselves, make her what little she is. As does their indifference to her baggage. She thinks herself immune to our limitations. The rule of law need not apply. She scorns transparency. Attacks anyone who dares to hold her to account. All with no charisma whatsoever.

There is the hypocrisy, not the least of which is that McCain was too old but Hillary (who is older) is not. The anti-feminist mistreatment of women in defense of her meal-ticket husband. Financial Fraud and Global graft that should have the ‘pretendian’ Liz Warren’s–who claim the mantle of defenders of economic equality–crying pretender. All of this and more should be an anchor around the necks of the Democrats who keep Hillary afloat. But unless Bernie comes out as a woman the media has no other Democrat Champion. It is Hillary or bust.

Clinton had the Democrat nomination before the campaign started but I feel certain Trump will clean her clock in the general. But what her ‘ladies in waiting.’ The gallery of rogues that keep her relevant. The Jeanne Shaheen’s and Maggie Hassan’s who help carry her ample baggage. Were the full weight of those indiscretions brought to bear, perhaps we could get a few of them to exit stage left in her dismal and embarrassing wake?
