With a SCOTUS ruling due on the legality of a buffer zone around abortion clinics in Massachusetts the New Hampshire Legislature passed their own in to law anyway. Before the ink was dry the Supreme Court ruled the Massachusetts law unconstitutional.
Alliance Defending Freedom secured a court order blocking enforcement of the New Hampshire law, placing it on hold. The lawsuit that followed (Reddy v. Foster) was thrown out this week because the defendants have no standing until someone actually institutes a buffer-zone (they were prohibited from enforcing) and is charged with violating it.
