From Ann Marie Banfield, on parental permission for non-academic surveys in public schools.

PLEASE pick up the phone right now and call this number and leave a message for Governor Hassan to SIGN SB320 into law. (603)271-2121

SB320 will require parental permission when schools survey your kids. These surveys ask about their sexual preference, if there are GUNS in the home, drugs, alcohol, etc. They are NOT anonymous, there was testimony on how one teacher in NH had the kids stand up and move forward/backward (to tell about white privilege) based on their answer AND took pictures of them.

The alternative is that schools could continue to survey your kids about whatever they like without parents ever knowing.
