Bernie Sanders, like all Socialists / Statists, believes your money is really the State’s money. After all, if you believe in Warrenism, “you didn’t build that” and apparently, Bernie believes that the State is only lending you your money, and now he wants it back. After all, like all Statists, he believes his spending your money is far better than you spending it (“You don’t necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants”).
And spend, he wants:
Context: the yearly American GDP is only $17 Trillion per year. The State cannot give anything to anyone unless it first takes it from someone else. Socialists believe that the Have-Nots have better claims on you productivity than you do – that is the result of Positive Rights (that the State MUST provide for your needs) which means, in the end, a diminution of your Freedom.
