YOUR NH SENATORS TODAY…voted to FORCE your school to teach YOUR 5 year old about drugs and alcohol. Led by Senator Stiles (R) and with NO provision to inform YOU or require your consent, the NH SENATE passed SB369-FN
1) ASK your senator how they voted on this bill
I do NOT see a roll call vote. That’s a convenient way of avoiding scrutiny from you, the parent2) IF you have NOT contacted your state rep. do so immediately. The House Ed Committee will vote on this TOMORROW MORNING then it will go to the FULL house for a vote, I suspect next week.
This is certainly an important issue but many times these programs in the school have the OPPOSITE effect. i.e….parents reported that their children actually became interested in alcohol after their children went through the program.
This is a decision that should be made by local communities…ie..PARENTS.
