Microsoft has a war on God during Christmas?

Jesus in the MangerFrom The Corner (emphasis mine):

You know the song “Let There Be Peace on Earth”? I know it as well as you know something you were required to sing in elementary school, because I was. All those adorable little voices chiming in for world peace. But even in liberal New Jersey, we sang it with the original lyrics. Those lyrics include these words: “With God as our father, brothers all are we.” Apparently, that was too religious for Microsoft, which has produced a holiday (!) TV commercial featuring new young piping voices singing the song, but the lyrics referring to God are gone.

Really? Is that the point American culture has reached, that a Christmas video from a major corporation scrubs God from the song?

And they wonder why Trump gets followers simply because he is very outspoken and crushing the Political Correctness crowd?  I haven’t figured out the stupidness – the reason we have this holiday, Christmas, is because of the Christian celebration of the birth of the Christ child, Jesus.  How can you be “inclusive” when you deliberately anger more than half of the American population?  How stupid can the PC crowd get when it decides that it can’t even be honest about this holiday?  Take Christ out of Christmas and all you’ve got left is consumerism around a tree.  Look, if you want to “celebrate” just that, have at it.

We see the college and PC set decry “cultural appropriation” – an example is having a “Mexican party” where people don sombreros and fake mustaches.  Yes, there are SJWs (Social Justice Warriors) who are that thin-skinned and faux-outrage-ready that that found that unacceptable – heads MUST roll and apologies MUST be groveled out by the “oppressors”.

Yet, these self-same SJWs, have they made a stink about this “cultural deprecation”?  Naw, because Christianity is considered to be oppressive.  It’s similar to the Obama Administration’s Department of Justice – there is no such thing, legally, as reverse racism because as the “oppressive class”, whites can’t be discriminated against.  Even as religion is “protected”, using their rules, shouldn’t somebody get PC-dope-slapped for appropriating a Christian song – and then keeping God the Father out of it?

Naw, didn’t think so
