Are the Democrats [Socialists, really] all about redistribution?

That’s what Steve and I yakked about during the GrokTALK! preshow this morning about this:

BREAKING. The DNC Goes To War Against Bernie Sanders And Vice Versa

Hillary Clinton disturbed to find information on an unsecured server can be stolen

Well, well – just like the hypocrites they are – it doesn’t matter if it is OTHER peoples wealth they hoover up to redistribute to others, but man oh man, they kick and scream if it is THEIR’S!   Heck, from my standpoint, all it was was a redistribution of data wealth – what’s the big deal?

Oh, it was YOUR’S, Hillary?  Reformatted, emphasis mine:

In what is evidence of a more significant story that we don’t know about yet, the DNC has yanked access to its databases from the Sanders campaign and the Sanders campaign is accusing the DNC of actively undermining his campaign.   What happened, in a nutshell, is this. The DNC has a contractor that runs a master list of Democrat voters. It rents the list to Democrat candidates. The candidates have the ability input data onto the list that is hidden from other candidates behind a password protected wall. So Sanders, for instance, can input canvassing information and Clinton’s operatives can’t see it. Well, the best laid plans of mice and men…

Officials with the Democratic National Committee have accused the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders of improperly accessing confidential voter information gathered by the rival campaign of Hillary Clinton, according to several party officials.

Jeff Weaver, the Vermont senator’s campaign manager, acknowledged that a staffer had viewed the information but blamed a software vendor hired by the DNC for a glitch that allowed access. Weaver said one Sanders staffer was fired over the incident…NGP VAN, the vendor that handles the master file, said the incident occurred Wednesday while a patch was being applied to the software.

Since this came to light, the Bernie staffer has been fired.  Yet, did he do anything wrong according to Democrat values?  Remember what Al Gore said in running against Bush II when caught raking in tons of money from a monastery:

Gore who said there was no legal authorizing entity to disallow his collecting big campaign bucks from monks that had taken vows of poverty (e.g., where’d the money come from)? “No law? No limits!”

In other words, no internal governors within oneself – only external ones that should govern behaviors.  Same with this staffer – with the “external governor” that the glitch removed by that patch, what boundary was there to keep from taking it.  Isn’t that the value that the Democrats have given us – no rule, no foul?  No internal moral compass – why do you think they trash traditional social stigmas and traditional American moral reliance (as “bitter clingers”) on God and religious faith?

But I digress, but it does play a role here.  Remember that religious tenat of “Thou shalt not steal”?  Of course you do whether you agree with it or not.  Do not take that which is not your’s – I think a great maxim to live by.

But contrast that with everything that the Democrats have been campaigning on – giving people lots of stuff:  free education, free medical, free family leave, free this, free that – the litany is never ending.  TASTAAFL – and they target the “fairness” (or rather, unfairness) that others HAVE while the constituency they pander to HAVE NOT (stereotypical Alinksky Socialism).  So, they attack “the rich” and those that are “unfair” and onward to the despicable (like me – a middle aged, white guy in the middle class that has guns, has faith, and believes in family and traditional American values of self-worth, self-government, self-reliance, hard work, and self-independence).  From such as I, they will steal by the point of a pen (and call it legal) simply to appear “fair” and beneficient to their voters.

Fine for thee but not for me.  They can steal from us but let NO man steal from them.  That “we’re all in this together” communitarianism they boast about certainly falls apart rather quickly, right, when it is THEIR stuff.  Hillary certainly squawked up quick and loudly when she saw that it was HER private property, eh?  But her campaigning about taking OTHER peoples’ private property?

People like me are the enemy of Hillary (she said so herself) for agreeing that the taking of her private property is wrong – what that data staffer did (and he’s been fired) was wrong and he should have realized it internally (instead of pulling an Al Gore).

But SHE is wrong in taking the Socialist / Alinsky route – the taking of other peoples’ wealth.  With that, and seeing her property taken and she getting Gored, I think it most funny and totally apropo (even if it is still wrong).
