Fergus Cullen Wrote a Book And I bet it Sucks

Free Manure
Not actually free, but you get the point.

Trees were killed unnecessarily to create Fergus Cullen’s doorstop, Granite Steps. It’s an ode to the politics of New Hampshire’s First in the Nation primary as told by the man who bankrupted his own State party and escorted it out of power and in to obscurity. No, I have not read it. If I found a copy at the dump I wouldn’t waste part of my life to pick it up, let alone read it.

Here’s the hard data from Amazon.com

There are two reviews so far, and they are telling.

I am on the opposite end of the political spectrum from Fergus, but he writes very well and makes me long for the days of a reasonable republican opposition. So glad to see him publish this book – highly recommended.

First, what is juxtaposed to Fergus Cullen on the Political Spectrum? Would it be the opposite of that feeling you get when you are leaning back in a chair and you realize you have lost control and are about to fall and can do next to nothing about it?

Whoever ‘ec’ is they are not opposite that. They have to be a Democrat. Who else would long’s for the days of a reasonable Republican opposition to their worldview? Speaking of which, those would be the Fergus Cullen days where the party showed you their under-belly and did near-to-nothing to oppose the left’s radical socialist policies. This suggests that Cullen’s 195 page coaster is selling more of the same white-belly, aisle-crossing appeasement that dominated his tenure as NHGOP Chairman and as a political activist. And by activist I mean undermining his party and its principles in exchange for the scraps from the Democrat’s table.

I should add that political book reviews on Amazon are a new foray for reviewer ‘ec’ who has previously reviewed scissors, women’s sandals/flip-flops, a food scale, a toothbrush holder, and a book for tweens.

The first review of Cullen’s is by someone named Darren Garnick of Boston who is more than likely also a Democrat, who has reviewed a children’s book and external storage drives.

Finally, I am willing to bet money that if the Union Leader hadn’t published this book it would still be sitting on an external storage drive, under some children’s books, in a desk drawer in the Cullen household Basement, next to some RINO campaign memorabilia bearing the names of “reasonable Republicans” who failed to achieve higher office.

Note: Having written about it, it may now appear in our Amazon widget to the right. Please do not buy it. You will need the money to pay for the rising cost of health care, and the new income or sales tax we will get after the ‘reasonable Republicans’ expand Medicaid.
