They. Chose. Poorly: Kasich Annoys EVERYBODY!

We discovered, during the summer, that team Sununu had picked Kasich as their moderate Republican standard-bearer for 2016, and further, that Kasich had bet his entire campaign on New Hampshire.

Those of us who had watched Kasich on Fox from time to time already weren’t very impressed with either his claims of conservatism or his clarity, and were puzzled by the choice. It didn’t take Kasich long on the campaign trail for the opinion of the conservative grassroots to solidify against “St John” as he defended his sneaky imposition of Medicaid Expansion on Ohio against the will of the people and legislature by appeals to scripture and “it’s for the poor and mentally ill”.

With Medicaid expansion already being a sore point in NH due to the perfidy of “moderate” Republicans in the State House, and Common Core being widely unpopular here, Ol’ John H (I have no feeling for the electorate any more) Sununu must have been wishing that he could dissolve “the people” and choose another, because any boost he might have achieved for Kasich evaporated as soon as the aggravating figure of “St John” stepped onto the debate stage!

In the first few debates, people were already groaning every time Kasich opened his mouth and yelling at the TV long before he shut up, but by the FBN/WSJ debate this week, St John achieved the dubious honor of the LOWEST score ever recorded in a Frank Luntz Focus group (see video). Yes, indeed, the Sununus bet on Kasich, and Kasich bet on NH – They. Chose. Poorly. How poorly? Watch:
