Why not? "WHY NOT HOLD A CONSERVATIVE BLOGGER GOP DEBATE?" - Granite Grok

Why not? “WHY NOT HOLD A CONSERVATIVE BLOGGER GOP DEBATE?”

That’s the headline over at Big Government.  Heck, I beat them to it – have been saying this for years and actually, for a general election, willing to do such with the Left of center bloggers here in NH (Blue Hampshire kept turning me down):

But Big Government has the right of it:

Thus far, conservative media have been shut out of the process, save for the Salem Radio Network’s Hugh Hewitt, who joined the panelists for occasional questions at the second GOP Debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in September.

In March, the Republican National Committee suggested that conservative media more broadly would be involved in the debate process. RNC communications director Sean Spicer said at the time: “We want to facilitate conservative media becoming a part of this. It’s a question of them creating a partnership with the networks and we’re happy to facilitate that and that’s it.”

Well, after the #CNBC monstrous mess of moderation, why won’t the RNC follow up on their implied promise?

We at GraniteGrok stand ready to help and participate – I can guarantee that we will only ask questions pertaining to candidates own (and exact) words and their past actions / votes / legislation.  We don’t need made up “smarter than you” gotcha questions – being Conservatives, we’ll ask the questions that Conservatives really want answered.  Substantial?  Relevant?  Grounded?

Yeah, we can do that….with our eyes blindfolded and both arms tied behind our backs.  Interested, Reince?

Right, NH GOP Chair Jennifer Horn – you’ll put in a good word for us, eh?
