Interview with Trevor Loudon: Marxists, Democrats and uniting Republicans

trevorloudonOn Saturday at the Republican Liberty Caucus’ biennial meeting, author and political activist fromNew Zealand Trevor Loudon, was one of the keynote speakers. He has written a new book calledEnemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress. He talked about some of the information and research in his book during the speech as well as an idea to unite Republicans during the primaries.

During an interview with yours truly Loudon talked about how the unions have been completely taken over by Marxist leadership and how this leadership has completely shifted from caring about their members to focusing on a far left wing agenda. He speaks about the shift of unions from vehemently fighting against illegal immigration and amnesty to now fully supporting it despite the fact that it will indeed hurt their members.

Why do unions now support amnesty? It will further their leftist agenda to ensure that Democrats get elected over and over again. The media, Democrats and union leaders don’t talk about this. Union members are now stuck, shaking their heads, wondering what is going on. Many most likely have no idea what their own leadership is doing to them.

These same people are now controlling the Democrat Party. Unions have always bought Democrats into office and without that money, Democrats would have a more difficult time being elected. Since Democrats rely on unions, who have the money, the manpower and the members, “the unions are the puppet masters and the Democrat Party is the puppet.

Loudon also spoke about uniting the varying factions in the party before the election by suggesting whoever the nominee is actually announce his/her cabinet members which would include the presidential candidates who may have dropped out for one reason or another. This would help the hemorrhaging of voters who tend to take their ball and leave if their candidate doesn’t win the game.

Loudon gives several examples of cabinet members who would be stellar in their ‘ideal’ positions which would also lead to these same people running for President in the future. The idea is to get every faction fired up and “set the left and Communists back 100 years” by uniting.

With the liberal media slamming any candidate Republicans will put up, it’ll be much more difficult for them to destroy an entire team that a majority of the country could be on board with than if on their own. Loudon concludes with how there are now hundreds of thousands of people fired up about liberty and the Constitution and if you put an army like that behind a ‘dream team,’ it’ll be impossible to lose.
