A Feminist and a Political Contradiction: Hillary

Right after that piece on Suzanne Venker, they played a snippet of Hillary’s Benghazi Congressional hearing and one thing really caught my attention:

I made it abundantly clear that we had to do everything we could to protect our people.  What I did not and do not believe that any Secretary should do is was to substitute my judgment from thousands of miles away for the judgment of the security professionals who made the decisions about what kinds of security would be, ah, provided.

Yeah.  The obvious reaction is that she disavowed any responsibility for security for her people – a true leader sticks UP for her people and not throw them under the bus.  But, after all, she’s a Clinton – any wave of the hand works.  But in her words, she also through the main mantra of Progressivism under the bus in an effort to save herself:

“…do not believe that any Secretary should do is was to substitute my judgement from thousands of miles away for the judgement of”  the people who were closest to the problem (last phrase, my words).

Isn’t that the main philosophy of Progressives, that a select few people of the top (and being Secretary of State makes one part of that Most Innermost Circle) DO have the ability to make decisions for EVERYone thousands of miles away from that decision point.  She talks all the time what she will do, the decisions she, in all of her glory and knowledge, will make about the small details of our lives.

Yeah, Michelle and her damned school lunches all over again except it will be about our ADULT lives.  But then again, Progressives see little difference between those in schools (look how they treat real adults in college, “consensus”, and bedrooms) and those of us well past the Age of Majority.  In their eyes, NONE of us know what’s good for us.

So her words above are nothing more than a weak attempt of CYA – a lie.  An Alinsky tactic – the end justifies ANY means.  And she means that her end is the White House.

Hopefully, it will end in a Grand Jury.  But again, she’ll just be the next Lois Lerner where the Obama DOJ will decide “nothing to see here; move along”.
