Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is expected to drop out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination, a Republican familiar with his decision told Yahoo News.
Another source close to Walker confirmed “is exiting the race,” but did not provide further details.
Walker, who has seen his poll numbers plummet in recent weeks, has scheduled a press conference in Madison, Wis., where he will make the announcement.
The New York Times was the first report Walker’s decision to abandon his campaign.
