Colts Should sue NFL over Ball Infaltion

If you are a fan of rule of law and due process this article at the Washington Post puts the NFL v. Tom Brady DeflateGate foolishness into proper perspective. A suitable synopsis would be “The NFL is a Banana Republic.”

Goodell is Obama, with his phone and pen, interpreting rules, process, and even evidence to arrive at desire conclusion. He’s even spent a fortune to produce reams of incompetence.  But for what? If inflation had any effect at all on the game it was that the so-called “proper inflation” gave the Patriots a significant advantage in the Second Half.

And this isn’t the first time I’ve said that.  I’ve been making (to borrow from Dear leader) since day 1. But I am happy to explain it one more time.

Fist Half points (during which the alleged cheating is to have occurred):
Patriots 14, Colts 7

Second Half points (after “proper” inflation is to have been guaranteed):
Patriots 31, Colts 0

Final: Patriots 45, Colts 7.

If I were the Colts I’d be bitching at the NFL. Whatever the league did made the Patriots better. Or, more likely, they just were better and ball inflation had nothing at all to do with it.

Now, take your Witch Hunt and get off my lawn.
