The professional left and their media homunculi bemoan the decline of America from its once proud manufacturing heritage. “We don’t build things anymore,” they say, and “where have all the good paying manufacturing jobs gone?”
The better question is, where are the hard working Americans’ who would work in manufacturing if the left stopped pushing policy that made it almost impossible to create those jobs in the first place?
The answer is to taxpayer-funded colleges, spending federally pimped loans, to major in social justice studies (women’s, gender, queer, race, environmental, wage, left-handed-albino-lesbian, and so on), from whence an endless hoard of properly-propagandized ‘experts’ are belched out on to America’s increasingly less-fruitful plains.
Drifts of these over-credentialed snowflakes accumulate in well-funded places where all they can “build” are straw men; narrative spewing advocacy groups that manufacture hate and discrimination to justify their existence, peopled with progressive acolytes who couldn’t even change a tire on their own Prius.
But they can pontificate about how unjust the world is, and how we–the non-credential peasants who can change a tire–couldn’t built ‘That’ without them, whatever “that”is. And to argue otherwise, by the way, is a micro-aggression, or maybe it’s outright hate speech, and they’ll be damned if their America is going to be the kind of place where that sort of thing is allowed.
