NHGOP Woodshed
This Woodshed is getting one heck of workout lately…

A topic of much discussion today on GrokTALK! were the recent remarks by NHGOP Chair Jennifer Horn.  She fired up the GOP unity bus (see attached video for J-Ho Go Team! Rah-Rah from the Rockingham County Republican Dinner just last Weekend) and publicly backed it over Congressman Guinta.

We have not always agreed with the congressman–specifically with regard to votes that ran in direct contradiction to campaign rhetoric–but we think the FEC had the campaign finance situation well in hand (and voters get another crack at him in 2016 should he pursue tenure in the lower House of Congress).

All well and good except for the Ayotte, McQuaid, Cullen, Jasper, cabal of RINO’s who’d gone before with their own inexplicable chorus of demands that the congressman step down. Maybe Jennifer was feeling left out, or more likely, it was just her turn?

Jennifer’s broadside was to much for even Vice Chair Brian Gould to keep down. He resigned immediately, disgusted or perhaps “last-strawed” into bailing on his politically bi-polar party boss.

Is she thinking the First in the Nation Primary will protect her?  Guess again.

The list of those put-out by what Horn put out is long and grows quickly by the day.  So it is not surprising that a movement has begun to remove Horn from the position.  Have at it, I say, but don’t limit yourselves to J-Ho.

The Party leadership meddled in the House Speakers race with the trails of bread crumbs leading back to Ayotte.

RNC Committee-Critters Duprey and Bergeron were bad Republicans before they got elevated to their current positions.  Removing them should be a priority, and not to worry.  There has to be at least two more wealthy party-climbers who can play in the deep-end at the RNC national ass-kissing contest who are more Republican than Bergeron and Duprey.

And for those whining about all the money we could lose by flushing out the cistern, given the quality of leadership we’ve had lo these lase far too many years, was what little money there was worth the trouble?

And finally, not the first time I’ve made this suggestion, can we please get Governor Sununu to put himself out to pasture?  He may be smart and connected but I’m still waiting to see where that’s been good for Republicans in New Hampshire? Anyone have an example that isn’t just more of what I’m writing about here?

We will be fine, if not better, without the lot of them.  (#JHoMustGo hashtag courtesy of George Lambert)

Here’s the J-Ho Rah-Rah, freshly colored by the patina of the hit and run that followed it three days later.
