Guns, Gumby and “Gliberals”

“A system of morality which is based on relative emotional values is a mere illusion, a thoroughly vulgar conception which has nothing sound in it and nothing true.”  —Socrates

Glib, according to Merriam Websters online dictionary, is defined as,

(words) said or done too easily or carelessly : showing little preparation or thought: speaking in a smooth, easy way that is not sincere

Oh No Guns....and magazines...and ammoAnd, that word aptly describes liberals who argue for gun control. “Gliberals”, as I like to call them. These hapless hoplophobes who harp endlessly on about, “sensible gun policy.” Despite the ubiquitous din of that very phrase within the repertoire of anti-gun rhetoric and index of much-favored hyperbole, I still, to this day, don’t have a single f**king clue what that exactly means….exactly. Nor am I any closer since the genesis of its Newtownish universal use.

Gliberal-Gumby-Damn-it-with-rifleFlorida International University Student Media‘s John Sutija takes to the blog pages to make the case that the Second Amendment Needs Amending. And what a snoozer it is. the Gliberal Sutija makes use of the same old tired arguments about muskets, militias and madmen. And just exactly “who is” John Sutija? Alas, a young skull full of mush on a solipsistic rant because somebody offered him blog space. After reading the rant, I thought to myself, “there is a four minutes of life I shall never recover.” Where the article is written by some millennial who cannot tell me who Chester A Arthur is, but can tell me who is in the running on Dancing with the Stars, why should I even care?

The manner in which these gliberals pervert U.S. History as a means to an end should speak volumes to what extremes they will go to further their anti-gun agenda. They have the seriousness and credibility of Gumby. If you parrot the media talking points, you might as well be green and made out of clay.  Gliberal Gun Grabbers are the social cartoon characters that are neither funny nor entertaining…Just boring.

There are no honest liberals…or Gliberals. Moms Demand Action claims they do not want to take away people’s guns. Yet a visit to any of their social media pages are rife with those who want to ban them all.

The gun versus anti-gun debate has devolved into a battle of numbers. In the face of the volumes of overwhelming and verifiable, indisputable evidence pro-gun, Gliberals still fight from the Platform of solipsism and hoplophobia. Winning is about sheer numbers.

There are many in the pro-gun community feeling beat down by the anti-gun rhetoric. Feeling overwhelmed at the sheer volumes of money spent by anti-gun forces. The political quieting of pro-second amendment forces. It is time to put this all in perspective.

In 1980, only six states had some form of licensure metric allowing citizens to arm themselves. Today over 42 states have moved forward in  facilitating law-abiding citizens to arm themselves for protection of self and family.  Add to that the several states who have passed “Constitutional Carry.”

Crime since 1990 has dropped by more than half, while gun sales have increased exponentially. The United States is the world leader in per capita gun ownership, but number 111 in the list of nations where murder rates are measured per 100,000. The only place in the U.S. where crime soars is in those areas (metros specifically) where the citizens right to keep and bear arms are grossly curtailed by liberal, progressive policy makers deeply politically entrenched and in control.

Anti-gun Gliberals outspend pro-gun America at a rate of 5-to-1, yet they lose far more than they win. Liberals continue to argue militias, muskets and madmen, despite those same assertions being refuted in the Supreme Court, the public forum and research corners. What kind of person argues the same lies after being told face-to-face, mano-y-mano, page to page, medium to medium that they are lies?

Seems to me that based on the laws passed, guns owned and changing perspective on who should or should not own guns, the Second Amendment Community is winning and the gun control crowd is losing. The question becomes, “How much more do we (Gliberals) have to spend to lose more?

Pro-gun folks don’t get a pass, either. These liberals forever try to change the word lexicon with phrases like, “universal background checks,” and, “sensible gun policy,” and, “assault weapon,” and, “High-capacity magazine.” I’ve heard pro-gun folks using those terms. If a term cannot be universally defined, it is a term of deception, meant to confused the uninitiated.

Of late we bear witness to a spike in crime as a result of the Ferguson Effect. How long will it take for the progressives to lay the blame squarely on gun ownership, renewing calls for “Sensible Gun Policy,” and, “Universal background Checks”?
