As long as we’re doing “revisits”, let’s not forget Steve Duprey & Planned Parenthood

Steve DupreyAfter all, he was at the meeting, check in hand, for Planned Parenthood’s Action Fund – you remember, the political arm of Planned Parenthood whose mission is to get rid of NH GOP Committeeman Steve Duprey’s sitting Republican US Senator, Kelly Ayotte (R-NH).  Yeah, having it both ways at once.  Sorry, his “justification” in my eyes doesn’t wash, that he’s raised lots of money for pro-life Republicans as well.  That’s hedging, pandering, and not being honest – straddling and triangulating really only worked for Bill Clinton.

Anyways, it seems like the US House passed a bill today that the President of Planned Parenthood (who was at that same meeting with Steve Duprey) at which Cecile Richards was RATHER upset:

The U.S. House passed the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would ban abortions after nearly five months, 242-184 on Wednesday, the two-year anniversary of the conviction of infamous abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell.

Remember Kermit? The abortionist that finally brought the true reality of abortion in the country’s living room – failed abortions, utterly miserable Third World conditions, neglected live births, “kept” children (in formaldehyde and freezers) and dead mothers (better than the back ally coat-hangers we’ve been fear-mongered at for decades)?  And this is what Cecile Richards had to say about it: unconstitutional….hurt women?

Not a word about the babies that were hurt beyond hurt – until they could hurt no longer. Not a word about compassion for these innocent ones who are killed for no other reason that Cecile Richards and Steve Duprey feel entitled that they should be able to, well, just kill them.  Legally. She leads the charge and he funds it.

Truly, Cecile Richards is right; “the fight is far from over”.  You know, Progressives are ALL about “protecting the oppressed and vulnerable” – how more oppressed and vulnerable are those that cannot speak for themselves and in their own defense.  I just cannot fathom the absolute cognitive dissonance when these same people plead, gnaw, and rant about a death row sentenced stark evil killer, that they should be saved because: dignity! and yet a baby cannot accorded the same view?  I will repeat what my friend Doug said once:

I’d willingly trade the Death Penalty for guilty killers if you’re willing to give up the Death Penalty for innocent babies

The two we were debating at the time were stunned – and refused.  No, the fight is not over.  And those that try to play both sides of the fence should be called out for that strategy.  Abortion at any time for any reason – and taxpayers are forced to pick up the tab.  And you wonder why I rail at NH GOP politicians who scoff at the idea that Republicans should fight for social issues (yes, you Doug Scamman and now George Pataki) as ALL social issues have fiscal costs.

NH GOP Committeeman Steve Duprey is one of them.
