A Message In a Riot

Baltimore riotThe media has overwhelmingly blamed Pamela Gellar for the violence that resulted in the deaths of two terrorists in Garland Texas. The thesis is thus: knowing full well that Islamic terrorists could be offended by anyone drawing a picture of their prophet any gathering to further promote or celebrate that end should be expected to result in violent opposition.  Free speech, for all the good it does, must be constrained under such circumstances because bystanders are put at risk by the expected violence such an exercise invites.

If we apply that thesis to the recent riots in Britain it is clear that the voters are to blame.  How dare they vote in such a manner as to incite left-wing violence against innocent bystanders.

And now that the message has been sent, the next time round they will be expected to vote the correct way or suffer the consequences.
