The Public education model has failed. It is time to look at other alternatives.

Merrimack, N.H. recently voted for and approved a $70 million school budget. This will fund one year of “education” for 3,800 students. I don’t have a college degree, so I do the pedestrian thing. I take $70 million and divide by 3,800 to arrive at $18,421. This is the cost per student for one year of “public school education” in my town.
