EMail Doodlings – Taxes, Pataki, and Bolton

Pay taxesReally, it’s about the taxes.  Federal taxes – I finished doing mine last night.  Since I haven’t posted since last Thursday, I let my fellow Groksters know I’m back in action:

Sure!  Will start posting again tonite.

I failed in my Fed taxes – sniff – I am owed a coupla hundred bucks.  I measure success in me having to send THEM $50-$100; no interest free loans from me was my goal.  #FAIL.

And that’s really how we all should look at how OUR money, our personal and individually earned dollars, should be looked at – OUR money and not the Government.  Yet, if you are current on some of the comments here at the ‘Grok, it is clear that the Left believes otherwise.  After all, Bruce Currie (frequent commenter here at the ‘Grok) believes that Government should have first dibs on what you earn and on your wealth (apparently, he’s much in favor of the confiscatory Death Tax known as the Estate Tax).

True  but I look at it this way.  It’s MY money when I’m to get a refund – they have held it hostage. Else, they have to pry it out of my sem-warm fingertips.

The thought: whose money is it really?

As far as former NY Gov George Pataki and former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton are concerned, Matt Mayberry from the Strafford County GOPpers let me know those folks are inbound for campaigning:
