Windham School Board Incumbents Ousted

Windham NHMaybe the people of Windham got tired of all the negative publicity from their school board?   Banning Dodgeball and walking that back.  Refusing US Constitutions an walking that back.   Or it might have been the almost arrest of a resident trying to give public comment before a vote to accept a massive $577,000.00 dollar no bid contract without public comment.  Whatever the reasons, two incumbent school board members were swept out of office last night and replaced, one of them by the guy they tried to intimidate when they called the police.

(Windham Patch) Two incumbent Windham School Board members were bested at the polls on March 10, 2015, by solid margins, according to the unofficial school race results.

Tom Murray came in first for one of the two seats with 1,735 votes. Another challenger, Daniel Popovici-Muller, came in second with 1,618 votes. Trailing far behind where the two incumbent board members, Mike Joanis, who received 1,313 votes, and Jerome Rekart, who received 1,244. More than 3,200 ballots were cast, according to the unofficial results.

Popovici-Muller and Murray join Ken Eyring to form a majority on that board.

Murray and Eyring were recent guests on GrokTALK! to discuss the Cenergistic problem in detail here and here.

Thanks to Ken Eyring for questioning the numbers and the company and Rich Girard and Kimberly Morin for helping Ken shine a big flashlight on Cenergistic.  That publicity cost Cenergistic questionable deals scams in Windham, Salem, and Rochester, New Hampshire at the very least, and any number of other School districts they would have pursued here if successful in those towns.
