AFP-NH on Keystone XL Senate Passage

CONCORD — Americans for Prosperity New Hampshire State Director Greg Moore released this statement following the Senate’s final passage of a Keystone XL pipeline approval, 62-36:

“Although it’s wonderful to see Congress begin to catch up with an overwhelming majority of Americans, it’s disappointing that Senator Shaheen hasn’t gotten the message. Her continued support for an agenda that squelches job growth and drives up energy prices shows she’s out of touch with the needs of our state. She and the president appear completely disconnected from the everyday concerns of those of us in New Hampshire. We’re pleased that Senator Ayotte joined a bipartisan coalition that leaves the president with no more excuses to stop this project. We’re pleased that Senator Ayotte joined a bipartisan coalition that leaves the president with no more excuses to stop this project.”

The national organization made Keystone XL passage a top priority as part of its recently released Reform America 2015 agenda. For more information on the agenda, visit www.ReformAmerica2015.com.
