I know, “Shocker!” he’s been blowin off the VA since Satan’s fetid vapors blew him onto the steps of the Capitol on that cold, macabre inauguration day. Here is his cavalcade careening past the VA in Phoenix:
But this was not just any VA. This was the crux of last years VA scandal. The VA where 18 vets died while awaiting doctor appointments. And he decided to literally pass right by in our limo. What a heartless wretch.
The vets were waiting because the anodyne served in the twisted Kafkaesque VA halls must first pass through bureaucratic sinecures willing to a negotiate a byzantine process only while it does not disturb their leisure. So naturally, the queue backed up quite a bit. And any poor soul whose name sat for too long in that queue got the shaft.
You see, by the time it was their turn, their wait time was so long it that became an embarrassment to the VA. The VA bureaucrats couldn’t have that (think of the cuts in bonus’!), so they tried to hide it. And the unfortunate veterans who happened to wait too long were simply dropped onto the infamous “secret lists” (up to 1700 veterans). These lists were ignored and where veterans in need of treatment waited and waited and waited in perpetuity until they died. And at least 18 of them did.
The Big Eared One heard about this at the time and did what he does, talked big. Big ears talking Big, advocating Big fixes for his beloved Big government. He then appointed another bureaucrat to take the heat, dusted off his hands and hit the links while waiting for the next scandal caused by the realization of his ideology to push the VA off the front page.
One would think that the champion of foisting this type of bureaucratic hell on the rest of us would at least try to be sure it works, but no. Big Talk can’t be bothered. He needs to go bulls**t sycophants and propel his delusional self-image as an accomplished man further. So, no time stopping by the VA, just drive by the VA, where veterans that needed help were instead mangled by the bureaucratic machinery he and his types advocates for more of.
What a loathsome creature. Can tell he’s a Democrat.
