At what point do Obama’s Regulatory State raise the bar – and we all fall?

(Cartoon H/T: Liberty Unyielding)   And here’s some proof that Obama’s Progressive agenda (translation: we WILL tell you how to do everything and anything) is making life more and more difficult for everyone).  Each and everyone of these reduces Freedom (and you can’t tell me that even the majority of this is “for my own good”):

Report: 21,000 regulations so far under Obama, 2,375 set for 2015

The pace of agencies issuing new rules and regulations has hit a record high under President Obama, whose administration’s rules have filled 468,500 pages in the Federal Register.

And, according to the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the president is poised to unleash another 2,375 new rules on American businesses without first giving Congress an up or down vote.

CEI’s Clyde Wayne Crews, vice president for policy, told Secrets Wednesday that of the top six biggest Federal Register page tallies since 2002, the Obama administration owns five. This year, he said, the Federal Register ended up printing 79,066 pages — 78,978 when blank pages are removed.

Remember, the vast majority of these severely understate the cost of such regulations (and with the EPA, overstate the health “benefits”).  Each of these, regardless of your view of them, are a direct tax on businesses or citizens – for to force them to use time and effort otherwise used for other things is MONEY.  Time is money to businesses and time demanded from citizens is time they will never be able to recapture.  Ever.  Yet, Government blithely assumes that “they are the boss of us” – that any pushback is an insult to their intelligence.

What about the insult to us?  That is never a consideration – after all, one only has to look at the stupidity behind Michelle Obama’s school lunch regime in which one-size-doesn’t-fit-anyone but boy, if you complain and agree with the kids who are trashing their lunches, well, you just hate children and want them to starve.  Even as reality is showing they are – thanks to Government Regulations and She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed.

And lest I not be bipartisan, it was a Republican President, Bush II, and a Republican CongressTwit Fred Upton that signed and sponsored the incandescent bulb ban.  And the Constitution, in a plain reading of its text, gave power to the Federal Government control both…..where?
