Patriots 35 – Ravens 31

Brady TD Run Ravens 2014 Playoffs
Brady 1st Qtr TD Run

The Patriots showed resilience yesterday against the Baltimore Ravens, coming back from two 14 point deficits to finally take the lead and win 35-31.  I’ve seen all the local press so I was curious to read some Baltimore press.

(Baltimore Sun – Tom Brady Exposes Ravens’ Biggest Weakness) Keeping it all in perspective, the Ravens were fortunate to get this far in the postseason, especially after having to back into the playoffs.

But when it ended, it was going to end like it did Saturday night. It’s a quarterback-driven league and all of the teams in the final eight had good quarterbacks. But most of them have at least one great cornerback, too.

In fact, the Patriots had two. The Ravens had none and no playmaker at either of the safety positions, either.

And Brady and the Patriots made them pay.

What works for political activists works for Pro football teams.  Never give up.  Never surrender.
