Speaking of “Incumbents like weeds” – This survey on Kelly Ayotte is interesting…with implications

So, it comes down to this – how is Kelly Ayotte going to vote?  Is she willing to bet her seat to fulfill her campaign promise to NH Voters?

Careening off the beaten path of conservatism.
Careening off the beaten path of conservatism.

As a wise lady has pontificated:

“What if the NH GOP RINO plan all along was to throw conservatives under the bus at the opening bell, disenfranchise them for the session and try to neutralize their expected opposition to McAyotte in 2016?”

I would add the Liberty & Freedom wing of the Republican Party which includes Libertarians – after all, there has been reporting that NH State Senator Jeannie Forrester was in on the Shawn Jasper betrayal of the NH House Majority Republican caucus.  And there are a number of Republicans that hate ANY Libertarian being in the Party (a huge mistake, in my judgement). Mark my words, only bad things will come of this all the way around.  Voters voted to put that majority into the NH House to stop the Democrats – NOT to have a Democrat appointed Speaker JASSper.

They also voted, nationally, to stop Obama’s Executive Order on Amnesty.Amnesty – you know, the issue that Kelly Ayotte was VEHEMENT about not granting….until she was for it once she decided to ride with Senators McCain and Graham – and then she was all for it.  Until lately.  And maybe that why this poll shows what her story is:

Democrats, as it happens, are almost certainly feeling a bit better now that a new poll in the Granite State suggests Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) isn’t a shoe-in for re-election. That is, if — and perhaps only if — Gov. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) decides to put her name forward.

From CNN:

The survey, conducted by the New England College Polling Institutefor the New Hampshire Journal, gives the Republican 48 percent support among registered voters to Hassan’s 43 percent support. Another 4 percent choose someone else, and 5 percent are unsure.

The single-day automated survey, which was conducted on Dec. 1 among 541 New Hampshire registered voters, is just an early snapshot of the race — but it’s one that underscores the difficult fight Ayotte has ahead of her to hold onto her seat.

So here’s the deal – the Feds run out of money in two days – Thursday.  The CRomnibus (CR + omnibus) bill to keep from shutting down the Govt needs to be passed soon.  There is supposed to be a bunch of riders and another bill for funding that supposedly cuts the knees out of Obama’s Executive Order all but legalizing illegal alien Amnesty – the very issue on which Ayotte has been a mirror image like John “Lurch” Kerry: she was against it before she was for it.  Now, she’s gone dark on it since we had the illegal alien kiddies swarming our Southern Border.  I really don’t get it – she talks a mighty game on national security but on the border?  Long, long pole in that one’s hands.

But there are indications that ALL THOSE VOTERS, including here in NH, that put more Reps and Senators into Congress since Prez Hoover to stop that Amnesty are about to get a real nasty surprise.  After all the campaigning, after all the hot air saying “we’re gonna kill it”, its a DC hoodwinking in process.  The text of the CRomnibus won’t be posted for review until late – Trillions of dollars, thousands of pages – and then the vote.

Rumors are that the DC pols are about to screw us all – they aren’t going to stop Amnesty at all – by any means.  They took impeachment off the table, they took govt shutdown off the table (wusses all – look at the election we just gave them 2 years down the road and like I keep saying, other than the military responsibility, we’ve got 50 good (plus or minus a couple) governments to keep things going – The State govts) and now all of the yakking about defunding is about to go the way of the dodo as well (here, here, herehereherehere, here, herehere, here,  here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here ,here, here, here, here, and here – some links are a bit tangental).

So, it comes down to this – how is Kelly Ayotte going to vote?  Is she willing to bet her seat to fulfill her campaign promise to NH Voters?

Consistency breeds Trust yields Votes

What say you, Kelly?  Or are you going to prove that wise lady right?  Yes, Republicans are on a 5 year high approval rating – but that can be tossed away in a heartbeat.  In this hyper-partisan environment in which Government is intruding into every aspect, people are watching more and harder than before (at least those that vote regularly).  That good will can disappear in a SNAP! if the Republicans like Ayotte decide to double-cross voters on this issue – they will not forget.

So, will she listen to the will of the voters?  Or the will of K Street (lobbyist millionaire row), Chamber of Commerce, illegal immigrant Amnesty DEMANDERS, and the Democrats?

Or the Republican voters that DID put you in your seat AND JUST GAVE YOU 9 more Senators to carry out the Republican agenda – which includes restoring to fullness one of our Pillars of our Republic – The Rule of Law?

Vote for Politics or Vote for Principle – which shall it be?

Again:

“What if the NH GOP RINO plan all along was to throw conservatives under the bus at the opening bell, disenfranchise them for the session and try to neutralize their expected opposition to McAyotte in 2016?”

Ummm, we Conservatives and Libertarians aren’t going to go quietly into ANY night ANY time soon. Remember the names of Walt Havenstein and Scott Brown, Kelly.
