RINO Hunting? Time To Double Down!

Only you can keep RINOs out of Concord
Endangered Species?  You Wish.

Drew Cline has a great editorial over at the Union Leader about RINO Hunting .  Over-hunting, actually.  It is ‘great’ because it is both creative and flawed.  It is also funny but mostly because it is utter nonsense.

Synopsis?  The arrogance of non-RINOs (Elephantus Egomanicus)  leads to Democrat majorities.

Or something…

The problem appears to be that if we do not limit when Conservatives can “take” RINO’s, the whole business will tumble down some rat hole, leaving us with nothing but Democrats.

This is strange territory to stake out given that it is increasingly difficult to differentiate the RINO’s from the donkeys policy-wise.   RINO’s recently attacked  free speech through byzantine campaign finance rules, passed a massive entitlement expansion, and tried to whittle away at gun rights.  Republicans should have been stopping those things not sponsoring them.

If you’d like a more current glimpse into the gentle RINO mind the NH House rules committee just decided that it was far too easy for legislators to be held to account for their votes.  To solve this problem of transparency the current head RINO, Democrat elected House Speaker Shawn Jasper, and his Democrat enablers, changed the rules making it harder to ask for a roll call vote.

Can you imagine?  Republicans accused of being spineless unprincipled mules for the Donkey agenda, labeled as such for voting too often or more often with Democrats, just made it more difficult to held accountable for their votes.

Are RINO’s not proud of their policy agenda?  What are they trying to hide?  Why do they need to hide it and from whom?  Someone in the NH media could write about that.

We know why Democrats don’t want voters to see their votes.  They want things the majority of voters and taxpayers do not really want.

The Union Leader would happily take on that subject so why not make column inches available to explain the RINO’s Democrat-like opposition to transparency?

While they are at it they should also justify RINO opposition to the limiting nature of their own party platform.

Perhaps we can get a treatise on why the state or US constitutions are barriers to planned RINO improvements to New Hampshire.

The Union Leader might even explain why it has chosen to use a fear of Democrat control as a way to move public opinion toward RINO’s whose defining difference from their Republican opponents is that they are promoting progressive policy under the cover of the GOP.

The UL could write a story about how the Democrat party and the unions are (and have for years been) actively recruiting candidates to register as Republicans who then run for seats in the NH House?

If the Union Leaders goal (to keep invasive Democrat herd animals from expanding their grazing territory) is genuine, how is the answer to that call a defense of the hollowing out of the only party present to oppose this?

It is not.

The true answer is not to limit RINO hunting but to endorse it and report the reasons.  To defend principles that keep New Hampshire from being hollowed out by the creeping advance and tolerance for progressivisim in all its guises.

Instead, the Union leader  has chosen to fear monger the electorate in defense of the very strategy Democrats are using to reduce the GOP to little more than a client state of the Democrat party.

So does New Hampshire have room for another Nashua Telegraph?
